Ai – to unify with or be in unity with ..
Ki – The vital emptiness from which all things are unfolding .
Aiki refers to the process of unifying
with the fundamental ki out of which
existence springs forth.
To have no separation between one
self the unified individual, and the
oneness that is the universe.
